Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
CreateWaLink (createwalink.com) is operated by X64 Network, based in Spain, which acts as the data controller. Contact: chicolassss2@gmail.com.
2. Data you enter in our tools
The link generator, QR code generator, "open chat" tool and floating button generator run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The phone number and message you type are used to build a wa.me link or an HTML snippet on your device. They are not sent to us, logged or saved — not even in your browser storage.
When you open a generated link, you leave our site and go to WhatsApp, operated by WhatsApp LLC (Meta). From that point, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
3. Data collected automatically
- Hosting (Vercel Inc.). Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver the website and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page and time of the request. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Audience measurement (Vercel Web Analytics). We count page views, referring sites, country and device type in aggregate. According to Vercel, this service does not use cookies. We use it to understand which pages are useful.
- Code libraries. Pages that generate QR codes load the open-source QRCode.js library from the public content delivery network jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Like any web request, this provider receives your IP address. See jsDelivr's privacy policy.
4. Cookies and advertising
Our own code does not set cookies. Essential technical data is handled as described above.
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are active:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of other third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. By default, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to denied until you make a choice in our cookie banner. Your choice is saved only in your browser's local storage (key cwl_consent_v2) so we don't ask on every page, and you can change or withdraw it at any time from the "Cookie settings" button in the footer.
5. If you email us
If you contact us by email, we use your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to handle your request and then delete it, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
6. Legal bases
- Hosting, security and aggregated audience measurement: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and useful website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Replying to your emails: taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Advertising cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
7. International transfers
Vercel and Google are based in the United States, so some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. These providers describe in their privacy policies the safeguards they apply to such transfers, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to chicolassss2@gmail.com. Because our tools do not store what you type, in most cases the only data we may hold about you is an email you sent us.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
9. Children
This website is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes — for example, when advertising is enabled — and change the "last updated" date above.
